We always welcome financial donations and items on our Urgently Needed list of items, which we update weekly.
In addition, we welcome any in-date, unopened, tinned and packaged food items, domestic cleaning products and pet food.
We cannot accept out of date food items, medicine or any prescription items.
We do not accept toys, clothing or other household goods.
The individual concerned should contact Citizens Advice or one of our partner agencies and seek a referral to us. With a referral in place the client can then contact us to arrange a private appointment to visit the Store.
We have a wheel-chair accessible space at the Store with parking just outside. Please contact us ahead of your visit to discuss your specific requirements and let us know if you need to bring a carer with you.
We keep a selection of items in stock to cater for a range of dietary needs. As standard, you should be able to find dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian, vegan and low sugar options. We discuss special dietary requirements needs with clients referred to us when setting up their first appointment.
The Godalming & Villages Community Store broadly covers the areas of Godalming North (including Farncombe, Binscombe, Compton, Charterhouse & Hurtmore) and Godalming South, Milford, Witley & Bramley.
We work alongside other foodbank services across Waverley and depending on where you are based, one of them may be better placed to help you. Information on all foodbanks in Surrey can be found on the Surrey Information Point (SIP) website.
We are a 100% volunteer run, UK registered charity (number 1199787).
The Store relies on donations of food, supplies and money from private individuals, charities, schools and local businesses. We always welcome financial donations and supplies on our Urgently Needed list of items, which we update weekly.
