Am I Eligible?

We are a referral-only foodbank. We do not decide who is eligible for our services. Anyone seeking our support must contact one of our partner agencies listed below (you may already be working with one) to request a referral to us. They can also advise you on what other support you may be eligible for.

For example, you can ask for a referral from Citizens Advice South West Surrey. Their advisers can arrange for you to shop with us and discuss ways to improve your general situation.

As soon as you have a referral in place, you can phone the Store during our opening hours to arrange your private appointment to shop with us. We’ll ask for a few details about you and any others in your household to make sure we can meet dietary requirements and personal care needs. This information will be kept strictly private.

If you need a few extras to tide you over, look in our Community Cupboard, situated outside the Store during our opening hours. It contains produce and basic supplies that anyone is free to take, without a referral. You can also access the Godalming Community Cupboard in Godalming town centre.

If you are in crisis and without food: Call us to arrange an emergency food parcel, and we will ask Citizens Advice to follow up with you.
